At Riverside, green means go. We go with green products, greener processes and the greenest recommendations we can apply to each job. From the beginning of a project to the last of the print run, we're committed to making everything we do as eco-friendly as possible. That way, the next generation will continue to have the resources and the know-how to keep on going.

We use recycled products whenever possible.

Recycled paper is made from post-consumer waste (PCS). In some cases, the term "fiber" is often used instead of "waste." But whatever you call it, we strive to maximize the environmental friendliness of every piece we produce by recommending PCS and practicing other green procedures.

Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody Certified (FSC)
FSC is a certification system that provides internationally recognized standard-setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services to companies, organizations, and communities interested in responsible forestry. The FSC label provides a credible link between responsible production and consumption of forest products, enabling consumers and businesses to make purchasing decisions that benefit people and the environment as well as providing ongoing business value.

Supporting the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI)
Using a comprehensive principal that combines the perpetual growth and harvesting of trees with the long-term protection of wildlife, plants, soil and water supply, the SFI is at the forefront of green practices.

Part of the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC)
This worthy organization promotes the sustainability and management of forests through independent third-party certification. The PEFC provides assurance to purchasers of wood and paper products like Riverside Printing that they are being responsibly harvested and replenishing our earthly resources.
